Rot In Hell//Cauldron Born

destroyreality:

Today is what I would like to describe as a ‘good post day’. Patience has indeed proved a virtue as I managed to pick this up for a non ridiculously jacked up price £7.80, which may seem steep for a single sided 7” but considering the lowest listing on Discogs currently starts at £36 it is in short a fucking steal. I have been trying to find a copy of this for a decent price now for about 2ish years as well so my waiting came up top for me.
For people unsure, this is Rot In Hell - Sins Of Malice 7”, their very first release (though, I think this version is their second vinyl put out), this one came out in 2008? so only 6 years behind schedule. It was self released by the band, and they (as always) went the whole hog with the presentation, hand printed covers, sprayed b-side, all hand made and it looks fantastic because of it. They’re one of the few bands I know who refuse to ever let their presentation drop for any release, they put the same amount of effort in for something that there are 300 copies of as they would one of 30 copies. The whiners complain that the records they buy take months (and years actually) to arrive, obviously completely unappreciative of the effort put in to projects of this magnitude. (Kvlt Ov Kali boxset was an 18 monthish wait from reports, so was Rot In Hell/Integrity Split, maybe they just like 18?). This is also the only missing record from my collection of their output, excluding variants of pressings. There’s still tapes, CDr’s and 1 lathe cut record to find, but I have variants of them anyway so at least I’ve got the most important part of their output physically.
This is one of the reasons why they are my favourite UK Hardcore band, absolute pinnacle of excellence in both musical and physical output, you’ll be hard pushed to find another band like this.

— Charles Manson, March 29, 2013

Never forgive, never forget, never, not ever.

mansonatwar:

Charles Mansons’ friend and regular visitor, Gray Wolf, was detained Sunday morning at 11:00 am, March 24, 2013, on the public side of the Level 4 visitation entrance, Corcoran State Prison, Corcoran, CA.  Preliminary charges by the prison against Gray Wolf are listed as possession of an “illegal communication device”, and two additional variations of the same offense.
Manson’s close friend, Star, was sitting with Charlie at a table in the PHU visiting room at the time of Gray Wolf’s detainment.  Within minutes, visiting Sergeant Fritz entered the room and accosted Star at the table, demanding that she stand, put her hands behind her back, and submit to being handcuffed.  Star asked the Sergeant what was going on, but he refused to answer.  Star stood and complied with the Sergeants orders and was handcuffed.  A female officer, accompanying Sergeant Fritz, held Star by the arms as they escorted her from the room, through the crowded level 4 public waiting area, and on to a prison shuttle bus.
Meanwhile, Charles Manson was searched and then escorted to a holding cell.  His personal cell was searched by prison staff, and he was returned to his cell later in the afternoon.
Gray Wolf and Star were detained separately and held for questioning and search for approximately 5 hours by staff of the prisons’ Investigative Services Unit (ISU).
Both Star and Gray Wolf were subjected to a personal security search (strip-search).  Both gave ISU staff permission to search their personal vehicles.  All searches were negative for contraband.
Star refused to answer questions by ISU staff, referring them to her ID for personal information.  Star was released at about 4:30 pm with no changes to her prison-authorized visiting status.
Gray Wolf was apprised of the charges against him, his “Miranda” rights were read to him, and he subsequently asked for counsel to be present.  ISU staff then declined to question him at that time.  Gray Wolf was transported from the prison by ISU staff.  He was booked and released on a $30,000 bond from the nearby county jail.  Gray Wolf’s first court appearance is currently set for late April, 2013.
